American Tournament - Saturday 3rd March from 1.30pm. Entry £5. This is a fundraiser on behalf of Helen Kinley to help send her daughter to Texas for pioneering cancer treatment.

Penketh Tennis Club can be found off Hall Nook, Penketh, Warrington at the top of a secluded lane, amongst the trees.

We are a small friendly tennis club with three all weather astro turf courts which were fully refurbished in November 2009. Unlike other tennis clubs where players hang up their racquets from August to April, here at Penketh rain doesn't stop play (well, hardly ever). We even play on Christmas Eve!

As well as the tennis, there is an active social calendar planned for the club, with quizzes, cheese & wine nights in the clubhouse, and barbecues for the summer. There is an outside play area for children who prefer other games.

For the player who just wants to enjoy the game and keep fit, we play social tennis most weekends, and arrange monthly fun American tournaments for players of all abilities. For the competitive types, we have an annual club tournament, and also Adult & Junior teams playing in the Warrington and District League.

Penketh Tennis Club are proud to have achieved Tennis Clubmark accreditation. This is a recognition of excellent standards and achieving this confirms the LTA endorses and supports our tennis programme delivered on court and the policies and procedures put in place at the Club.

Our membership fees are very reasonable, working out at just over £2.50 per week, or only £10.00 per month. Juniors pay just £40 and Mini tennis (U11) just £20 for the whole year. We provide a discount of 20% for members from the same household, and can arrange easy payment terms if required. Winter membership at reduced rates is also available.

Junior coaching is provided and adult coaching is available by arrangement.
